Georgia Oakley's Sense and Sensibility Opens in UK Cinemas

Georgia Oakley's adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility is now playing in UK cinemas. Produced by Working Title Films and Focus Features, the film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles as the Dashwood sisters, alongside Caitríona Balfe, George MacKay and Fiona Shaw, with cinematography by Arnaud Potier.
Shot on 35mm 3-perf film, Cinelab provided film processing, scanning and dailies colour for the production. Some additional sequences were captured on Sony Venice 2, with that footage seamlessly united with the 35mm film footage via Cinelab’s signature 35mm transfer DFD process.
US audiences will have to wait a little longer - with the film opening Stateside on 16 October.
