Job Title: Mechanical & Electronics Engineer
Job Location: Slough, UK
Contract Type: Permanent, 37-40 hrs a week.

Key Responsibilities
• General day-to-day plant maintenance.
• Fault finding and repair.
• Machine servicing across several types of mechanical machinery.
• Running film line processing machines.
• Plumbing and mechanical maintenance of processing machines and film equipment.
• Operate and maintain computer-controlled machines to process and print films.
• The work includes mixing processing chemicals and chemical analysis following health and safety procedures.
• Sorting and loading films for processing and setting up and adjusting sophisticated electronic printing machinery.
• Dark room work required.

• To be able to handle materials carefully.
• To work well under pressure.
• Ability to work well in a team.
Ideal Candidate Skills
• General knowledge of mechanical maintenance and confidence working with technical machinery.
• Qualified to work on single and three phase electrical machinery.
• Ability to repair, fault find, and problem solve electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience working on industrial electro-mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Experience with PLC systems and older hardwired systems.
• Any photochemical knowledge would be useful.
On-the-job training provides technical knowledge, expansion of expertise and development of your skill set.
