Job Title: IT Systems Administrator

Job Description:

As an IT Systems Administrator at Cinelab Film & Digtal you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IT systems, supporting our workflow teams, and ensuring seamless operation across our technology stack. Your role will encompass a wide range of IT management tasks, from system updates and patch management to network configuration and server maintenance.


Key Responsibilities:


System Maintenance:
Keep Mac, Windows, and Linux machines up to date with the latest patches and software updates.


Patch Management: 
Ensure all systems are secure and running efficiently by implementing regular patch management procedures.


Workflow Support: 
Assist workflow teams with machine setups and deployments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.


Active Directory Management: 
Implement and manage Active Directory for user authentication and resource access.


Server Maintenance:
Maintain and monitor servers in collaboration with our service providers. 


Network Configuration: 
Configure and manage networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.


Microsoft 365 Administration: 
Administer Microsoft 365, including user management, security configurations, and overall system administration.


Jamf Management: 
Use Jamf to manage and configure Apple devices within the organization.


Log and document IT procedures to ensure clarity and compliance with best practices.


Firewall Configuration: 
Configure and manage firewalls to protect network integrity and data security alongside our firewall management team. 


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in managing Mac, Windows, and Linux machines.

  • Strong knowledge of server maintenance
    Strong knowledge of VMware.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.

  • Expertise in managing Active Directory and Microsoft Azure.

  • Proficient in using Jamf for Apple device management.

  • Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.

  • Experience in firewall configuration and management.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong documentation and communication skills.


Education and Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Previous experience in an IT Systems Administrator role, preferably in a post-production or media environment.
