Warner Bros. has released the first public footage from Digger and it's fair to say anticipation is building. The film marks the first collaboration between Iñárritu and Cruise, reuniting the director with cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, the team behind Birdman and The Revenant. Shot principally on VistaVision, alongside 35mm 4-perf cinematography. Cinelab handled film processing and scanning on the production, which filmed in the UK.

The teaser takes the form of a career retrospective for Cruise before cutting to a brief but striking first glimpse of him as Digger Rockwell, described as "the most powerful man in the world" - in what is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about films of the year.

The film is scheduled for release on 2 October 2026. A full trailer follows on 13 July.
