Norwegian political satire POWER PLAY (Norwegian title MAKTA) has won Best Series in the Canneseries International Competition. The 12-part series also bagged the Best Music award.

POWER PLAY is incredible story of Gro Harlem Brundtland, who in the late 70s works as a young doctor, fighting for self-determined abortion, when she almost by accident, stumbles into politics.

Created by Silje Storstein, Kristin Grue, and Johan Fasting, the series was shot on super 16mm by cinematographers John-Erling H. Fredriksen, Torbjørn Sundal Holen, and Trond Tønder. Cinelab Film & Digital are proud to have provided the film lab and dailies services on the production. Coming to a screen near you soon.
