Case Study: James Bond 'No Time To Die'

In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Filming

Daily film rushes were received during the shoot from multiple locations in Jamaica, Norway, the Faroe Islands and the UK. Cinelab Film & Digital's location near Heathrow ensured efficient and fast delivery and processing of rushes, crucial to continuity and shooting schedules.

Is No Time to Die shot on film?

YES! - The film is the first in the series to have sequences shot with 65mm IMAX film cameras. Director Cary Joji Fukunaga and cinematographer Linus Sandgren pushed for using film over digital to enhance the look of the film.
