A Different Kind of Connection is a short film marking the launch of the Arsenal x Adidas 26/27 home kit - celebrating what defines the club: the connection between players and supporters.
Directed by William Miller and lensed by cinematographer Stephen Dunn, the film staged real-time conversations with players and fans, running two units simultaneously - one in London, one in New York.
The edited footage was printed to 35mm and scanned back at high-resolution to digital via Cinelab’s DFD process. This embeds the physical, analogue character of film into digital-origin material, lending the project a weight that feels right for the occasion.
