Cinelab Film & Digital are proud to have supported the new Netflix hit My Oxford Year, which has soared to the top of the streamer’s global charts.

Providing digital dailies lab services for the production, Cinelab contributed to this heartfelt coming-of-age romance from director Iain Morris (The Inbetweeners Movie) and producers Marty Bowen and Temple Hill, the team behind The Fault in Our Stars and Twilight.

Shot by acclaimed cinematographer Remi Adefarasin OBE BSC on the ARRI Alexa 35 with Signature Primes and Angénieux zooms, the film brings Oxford’s iconic architecture and autumnal charm to life with cinematic warmth and elegance.

My Oxford Year is now streaming worldwide on Netflix.

I read this article about My Oxford Year and it feels like this film is one of those cases where the beauty of the visuals and the Oxford atmosphere work harder than the story itself. I really love how the cinematography captures the architecture, autumn colours, and overall https://www.tintfit.com/shop/conservatory-roof-plastics mood — it truly transports you into student life among historic colleges.  But reading reviews, it seems the plot and romantic arc don’t always make viewers emotionally invested: some find the story predictable and shallow, and the chemistry between the leads underwhelming.  Still, it’s a pleasant Netflix watch if you enjoy soft romantic films with scenic settings, even if they don’t hit you deeply.
