Wild Horse Nine, the new film from Martin McDonagh, will have its world premiere in competition at the Venice International Film Festival this September.

Cinelab supported the production with a full suite of services - a remote digital dailies lab and dailies colour, 16mm and Super 8mm film processing and scanning, and a 35mm DFD (Digital-Film-Digital) transfer on to Kodak 50D stock. A complex, globally distributed workflow, carefully managed across formats and locations - with lab operations extending to some of the most remote on the planet.
Shot by Ben Davis BSC on Alexa 35, with sequences on 16mm and S8mm, the film stars John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell and Steve Buscemi. It goes on general release with Searchlight Pictures on 6 November.
