The Film Lab Technician will take on various responsibilities for operating the film lab smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst paying close attention to the details and maintaining all safety precautions in the lab.

FILM LAB TECHNICIANS
Job Type: Full Time Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience) Location: Slough Duties to include all aspects of wet lab production:
Machine maintenance of film laboratory equipment and documentation in accordance with company standards.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly working environment
Chemistry mixing for film laboratory machines
Chemical analysis for all film laboratory machines
Negative checking for any flaws, preparing negative prior to any processing/scanning
Darkroom Operations - Prepare all film, load into mag cases/add leader/reels etc.
Machine Operation - Film Processors and Film Cleaners
Excellent customer service skills
Strong ability to work in a team environment
Ability to troubleshoot problems effectively
Ability to remain focused on detail-oriented tasks
Flexibility to different shifts work day/late and nightshifts, short notice shift changes
Must have a passion for film!
Previous film handling experience would be preferred but not necessary as full training would be given to the right candidate
