The first teaser for The Beekeeper 2 has landed, with Jason Statham back as Adam Clay. This time the Beekeeper organisation itself has gone rogue. Directed by Timo Tjahjanto and lensed by cinematographer Callan Green, the film arrives in to cinemas January 2027.

The production shot at Shepperton Studios in autumn 2025, and Cinelab provided digital dailies throughout. The shoot used the Sony Venice 2 as its main camera, alongside FX3, Phantom and DJI Inspire 3 units, and came to around 180TB of data.

Cinelab also handled VFX pulls and submissions QC through Fluent + Coherence. Fluent prepares and delivers shots to VFX vendors directly from the dailies dataset. Coherence is an automated QC tool for ingesting, verifying and tracking VFX submissions, checking each one against the production’s agreed workflow specifications before it moves on to picture finishing. On a production with many cameras and vendors, that means less workload and less time wasted on back and fourths, whilst you save money and supercharge your VFX team.
